If I think we’re a fit, you’ll tell me the objective you want to achieve and the date you want it achieved by.
Then I’ll come up with a plan, go over it with you, and if you approve it, I’ll implement it.
This means all of the implementation is handled on my side so nothing is left to chance.
The first reason is because I prefer to work on performance, meaning a percentage of revenue I bring in.
It’s just a better deal for everyone. Less risk to you, more potential for us both.
I charge a fee to begin work and then a monthly retainer.
Minimum is four months. (The retainer doesn’t start until month two.)
If I haven’t made (or saved) more than you’ve paid me after 4 months, I will have failed you.
This brings us to the second reason. My ego.
I have a very good track record and I don’t want to mess that up.
I don’t work by committee, I don’t work for companies that need “approval from the board”, and I don’t work for clients who come even remotely close to selling “get rich quick” stuff.
The idea is to have decades-long relationships with a very small number of clients.
